In 2008, God called my husband home all of a sudden. Actually, I was not prepared, but I had to face the reality and realized that we could not bargain with God. We had to be ready if God called us home. We all are going there someday and no one is exempt. One thing that I was thankful for was that he had received salvation and the touch of the Holy Spirit on December 4th, 1994. Ever since that day till the end of his life, he loved Jesus so much, were so thirsty and hungry for His Word and never missed reading Bible and fellowshipping with Him. There was never an excuse of being tired or sleepy. I know for sure where his spirit went, because there are only two options, heaven or hell. The choice is in our hand.
With just a part-time job, I had to take the role of a mom and a dad, while struggling with financial problem and sickness, which was cause by stress according the my doctor. I could only kneeled down and ran to Him. I needed God’s help and His intervention. He was the Doctor above all doctors. I kept my faithfulness, giving thanks always in every situation and hold on to His promise that He would never leave His children alone. Praise God! Miracle still happens, His power is still the same yesterday, today and forever. He gives more than what I ask for. Even if it is impossible for the world, it is possible for Him. “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” (1 Cor 2:9). I did not depend on my own strength, but I could go through the storm in my life because of Jesus. If I am what I am today, it is all because of His grace. Do not look only at your problems, but remember our awesome God. Amen!
